David Bestock (Ensemble)

David Bestock joined Unexpected Productions in the summer of 2012.  A Seattle native, David saw UP shows as a teenager, and got himself hooked on improv under the tutelage of Ed Sampson.  He was a founding member of WWU’s Dead Parrots Society, and upon returning to Seattle played with Jet City Improv and in several Wing-it Productions long-form shows including CUT! and Lost Folio.

In addition to improvising, David writes, produces, and performs music, theater and film.  Wisemen,a blasphemous original holiday musical he co-created with friends, was lauded as a go-to holiday tradition at Seattle's ACT Theatre in 2011-12.

David is the Director of the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center in West Seattle where he works to bring arts to the diverse Delridge community and to raise the level of arts education there and throughout Seattle.  He loves to play outside, and is a former national champion ultimate frisbee player.
