Unexpected Passions: An Improvised Soap Opera

Unexpected Passions is an improvised soap opera in the style of 80s and 90s daytime soap operas. There is sex and death (but we never see the dead body!) The characters will either be loved or hated and we have all the classic tropes – an evil twin, the bad boy with a heart of gold, the rich business magnate trying to bend everyone to their will, the ingenue suffering from amnesia, the wolf in sheep’s clothing. Get ready for laughter, drama, and surprises in Unexpected Passions.

This is a four-week show and we will keep the same characters throughout the run and have some larger story arcs running through each show. There will be a recap at the top of the show and each show can be enjoyed individually but if you make it to multiple shows, you get to see some bigger story arcs.
